OTAKI THEATRE.

- TO-NIGHT. "THE MATCH BREAKER." Coronada Beach, the magnificent resort out in California that is just around the corner, figuratively, from Mexico's Lower California, enjoyed the novelty of having a company of motion

picture actors at work in its fashion-

able midst. It was here that Viola ' Dana and her company took the exteri- ; or scenes in her latest starring picture for Metro, "The Match Breaker," a Dallas M, Fitzgerald production which will be shown tonight. In addition to the director and star, thirty members of the company worked on the picture and enjoyed suubaths on the beach. "The Match Breaker" has nothing , whatever to do with lucif ers despite its title. It pertains exclusively and solely to an industrious character of the feminine sex whose deliberate function in life is the antithesis of a match maker. The roll gives winsome, jolly Viola the chance she needs to display , her overbrimming personality. Mr, Fitzgerald has directed some of the little Metro star's most successful pictures, he was selected to head a unit bearing I

his name —the fourth producing body organized under the new Metro system —because of his achievements in connection with Miss Dana's starring pictures, "The Offshore Pirate,!! :'Cinderella's Twin'? and "Lifers Darn Funny."
