OBITUARY
♦ MRS BEANDOK, SENE. The death occurred at about 2.30 on Monday afternoon of M>> Catherine Balfour Brandon, a well-known and very highly respected resident of Oaki. Deceased, who possessed sterling qualities, was born in the West Indies nearly 79 years ago. came to New Zealand in the sixties, landing at Dunedin. she resided there for some years, making many friends. She then took up residence at Napier where sh.- married Mr Sidney Griffith.-, manager of the Bank of New Zealand, who died some years ago . Alter many years -evidence at NapieTj where : .hr v.-& = much esteemed, she decided to take up residence in Oi&ki, and two years ago came to reside with her step-son. Mi J. P. Brandon. her. and she was obliged to seek medical aid. and despite all skilled attention she passed away, death coming peacefully. There are three -on- —Mr s-nart Brandon 'National Bank. Perth).
