Deceased, who possessed sterling qualities, was born in the West Indies nearly 79 years ago. came to New Zealand in the sixties, landing at Dunedin. she resided there for some years, making many friends. She then took up residence at Napier where sh.- married Mr Sidney Griffith.-, manager of the Bank of New Zealand, who died some years ago .
