During the day afternoon tea was provided and fully enjoyed. 1 Two vititing rinks were present one from the Levin dub. the other from Shannon —and these players met combinations from Otaki. Unfortunately, no cards: were kept, but Wilson,

Durham, Percy and Rankin s, (Levin) were defeated by Freeman. Davies, Petrie, and Nobly s. t Otaki) —2!-lb. Shannon—Whlbley. La Frantz. Roach fiagliardi, .—met with a similar fate, •Smith, Williams, Webster, Bill s , ? ( (Otaki) defeating them by 24-14, G&rne- were also played between lo’-ai players and cause*! interest. Among the trophies displayed at xni bowling green on .Saturday were th-t JPuarcey cup. the Mcßeath shield, ar-d the Bussell cup. all in possession of • Otaki Club. Several players from the Otaki quet Club will be presenf at the icg of the Fozton Club c*n Wedur next.
