Winterburn. and C. Huff—acted as pall-bearers, and wore Maori mats for the occasion. There were also mats placed on the coffin, also floral tributes from Tainui children, to show their respect towards their little comrade. At the church services Miss Polly Hakaraia sang a Maori hymn tunefully, while the Hev. Father Molu officiated at the graveside.
