OTAKI MAORI RACING CLUB.
SPRING MEETING. The spring meeting opened on Saturday in line but dull weather. The at-1 tendance was large, the course in good order, fields were satisfactory, while the racing was above the ordinary. All arrangements were complete, and credit is due to the secretarial staff (lies-, srs D'Ath and Griffiths) and the assistant (Mr Ayre). The Otaki Brass Band was present and enlivened proceedings. Details of the racing are as follows: Maiden Plate. —Of IUU sovs.. second horse to receive 15 sovs.. and third horse 5 sovs. from the stake.
