PROBABLE POSTPONEMENT OP | SHOW. A committee meeting of the Otaki Horticultural and Daffodil society was held on Thursday evening. Present: Mesdamcs Swabey. Evans, and Reynolds, Miss M. Baker, Miss Whiteman, Miss F>. Whiteman, Messrs Summers. Cockrell, D. Noble, Broadway. Wilson. Evans. Bramlcy. Reynolds, and S. Nor prove (secretary). Mr If. Cockrell (vice-president) was in the chair in the absence of Mr U. Witched (president), from whom an apology was received. The question of judges cutting vegetables, fruit, etc., was discussed, and it was resolved that the regulation empowering judges to do so be approved. It was decided to advertise the Bull) Show in the Dominion in order to reach growers al the Hutt and other districts. The president was delegated to interview th« Otaki Brass Band re rendering selections on the evoning of the show. Mr H. Cockrell and the Secretary wore appointed to sign cheques on be half of the Society.
