SUCCESSFUL DAMIY SALE, IIIiHD A\ hIi.VvKS o\ LI! £ls. The sale of Mr J. I*. McDonald's dairy herd took place at Heaiherlea on Monday. The herd were mostly high-grade Jerseys, for which there was good competition, values reaching as high as C 25 15/, whilst the average lor the whole herd was CIS 6/8. The stock were presented in good condition, and die sale proved one ol the best in the district this season. The best prices were £25 13 , £24 5,, £23 10/, £2O 5 , £l7 10 , £l7, £l6 15, £l6, £ls 15/, £ls, and I'll Implements and sundries also realised satisfactory prices.
