OBITUARY.
MR A. P. JONES. The death occurred at Levin last even- j ing of Mr Andrew Pereival .Jones, aged 36 years, who died after a fort- j night’s illness from pneumonia. De- i ceased, who was greatly respected, was ! born in Otaki, and lived also at Te I Hero and Rikiorangi. Some 16 year* ago he went to Levin with his parents, j Mr and Mrs J. Jones, now of Morrins- [ ville (Waikato district). At the time , (it. his death he was President of the : Levin Rifle Club, and until recently j superintendent of the Levin Fire Bri- i gs.de, was a prominent Forester and a j member of the Levin Poultry Society’s ! committee. Deceased leaves u wife and j a 13-vear-old -on.
