A dance in aid of the Te iiuro Football Club will be held at the Public Hall, Te Horo, on Wednesday night, when it is expected there will be a large attendance. Good music, floor, and #tapper arc assured, A prohibition meeting (open-air) will be held at Otaki to-night at 7, when Mr O, L. Burton, M.A., will be the speaker. As this is the “iirst shot” in the eorniug campaign it is expected there will be u large attendance.

The Cabaret Club will meet on Monday night, and indulge in a social evening, The floor is to receive special attention, there will be new music, while the lighting .effects, etc., will be very attractive. Visitors are .expected from adja cent towns and with local residents there should be a large attendance.
