OTAKI CHORAL SOCIETY

A general meeting of the Otaki choral Society was held on Friday evening, when it was decided to go into recess till the first week in September. It was decided to wind up the season by a social on Friday next. Mr R. S. Lowry, on behalf of the members, took tlm opportunity of thanking Mrs Stah.c tor all she had done, and said all fully appreciated her efforts. He hoped the good work would be carried on and that members would reach to better tilings. Mrs Stable, in return, expressed pleasure at having members of the chore under her control, and said she hoped to have them competing in the competitions at Wellington next year.
