At a meeting of the Manawatu Union last night it was resolved to ask the Horowhenua Union to ploy the return match between the Mauawutu and Horowhenua representatives at Palmerdton North on July 22. In connection with the communicaj tion previously received from the New Zealand Union with reference to boundaries and representation, the Union was of opinion that it was desirable that the Horowhenua. and Manawatu Unions amalgamate. It was agreed that the Horowhenua Union be a-ked to appoint delegates to discuss the proposal with the Union, cither in Palmerston North or Levin. GAMES AND REFEREES TOE SATURDAY. SENIORS.
