The Te Horo-Otaki match will start at 1.30 sharp, while Old Beys and Hui Mai is set down for 3 p.m. Player* should make a n«te of this, and be on time.
A deal of interest will be centred in the Hui Mai-Foxton match to-morrow. an"d as both teams are sanguine of victory the contest should be a hardfought one. The Kuku-I'araparauaa game should bn a good one, while Hui Mai and Old Boys (Juniors) should draw a crowd at Otaki. Old Boys (seniors) will play Levin, and the form»r will have to be at their best t« win. It was stated at the last HorowkoHua Rugby Union meeting that there were 30 teams playing in all grade* in the Horowhenua district this season.
Mr E. Claridga. who had his jaw broken in the football fracos td Shannon last month, is still under medical treatment.

HOROWHENUA RUGBY UNION
At tha last meeting of the Horotrhcnua Rugby Union a letter was read from the Wellington Rugby Union asking if a Horewhenua-Mauatvatu team could Meet Wellington on Septembtr 23. The chairman stated that,thera was a possibility ef a coioblaad tears playing the New- Zealand totuiag team early next month, and it may be as well to hoH ever tha Wellington lettar till next meeting in event ot something coming out of she match with the New Zealand team. —This was aflfreed to.
