WEDDINGS.

e DEATH-BENSON. A very pretty wedding took plate at the L»vin Presbyterian Church yesterday, when Myrtle Mary, eldest daughter of Mr aud Mrs \V. Jenson, ot Levin, and Mr H. Death, son ol Mr and Mrs Death, of Ohau, were united in matrimony, The Rev. Bawden Harris was the officiating minister. The church was crowded with guests and freinds of both parties. The bride, who was given away by her lather, was attired in cream crepe-ds-chine trimmed with face panels and pearl beads, and wore the usuaf veil and carried a bouquet of roses, orchids, jonquils aud maidenhair fern. She was attended by her sister, Gladys, as bridesmaid, who wore a biscuit-col-oured crepe-de-chins gown, with large black hat. to match, and carried a beautiful bouquet. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a set of fox furs, and to the bridesmaid a gold pendant set with aquamarines. Mr J. Death, brother of the bridegroom, was best- man. The bouquets were made and presented by Mrs R. Prouse, oi Weraroa. After the ceremony a reception was held in St. Mary's Hall, when the usual toasts were honoured. \ feature of the bride's table was the handsome three-decker cake, whilst the breakfast room was prettily deco- ! rated by girl friends of the bride,. The beautiful array of presents received I indicated in a striking way the popularity of the vbung couple. The bride and bridegroom left for Palmerston North by car where they will join the train for the North to-morrow. Mr and Mrs Death intend to make their home in Kimberley Road, Levin.
