OTAKI'S WATER WORKS.
«— After a delay of five mouths and the patience of the Otaki Borough Council nearly exhausted, Mr Davies (town clerk) lias received notification dint the state Advances Boanl has resolved to giant the Council a loan of £OOOO for the purpose of water-works. Debenture and declaration forms were also sent. Payment of the loan will be made by instalments not exceeding four in number, and debentures covering the amount of the instalment actually required should accompany the application for payment.
