Brown, along with the electrical 1 engineer (Mr Overton) paid an official r ' visit to Otaki yesterday, for the pur- ■ pose of securing information prior to 5 gotting out a plan for the reticulation ' of the Borough in conjunction with the other parts of the Power Board area. The Mayor (Mr Brandon) along with ' Or. Kilsbv and the town Hork (Mr Drrviesi met I lie above representatives in , the Council Chanih' rs and discussed j preliminaries. Afterwards the Borough i streets were inspected, Mr Overton taking notes of possible power required. A visit, was paid to the hospital, where ount of eleclrici,t,v nov, .consumed by both institution!;. The matter of other possible consumers (including the factories and station) w»s considered. The j members of the Powei Board left Otaki . at about 4 p.m. They propose to visit Shannon on Friday next. | They have already visited Paekakaj riki. and other places south of Otaki. I
