W. .!. Bowden rode Sir Solo second in the Egmoiit steeplechase and paid a good dividend. Bowden ba= left for W'atiganui to ride Sturdee for Mr Vallanee, of Ma.-terton. Achillcon is the first horse to arrive for the Otaki meeting. He is quartered at Mr Utiku Hapeta 's. i
