Saturday was the closing of the sea son as far as the Otaki Club was concerned and after afternoon tea had been d,spoused Mr Witchell, on behalf of the members, referred to this fact and congratulated the ladies on their successful season and the able manner of had maDe " od the affairs of the Club. The play of members, he said, had improved, and it was pleas mg to note that during the seasoa they had won the Pollock stars.
