FOOTBALL.

The Old Boys’ Club will hold ‘gym’ practice to-night instead of to-morrow night. The juniors of Otaki Old Buys’ Club and To Horo played a game at Otaki on Saturday when good form was shown by quite a number of players. Both sides played with dash, but, in many cases, failed to use their heads, and consequently scores were missed. The wind favored the visitors in the lirst half but no score was registered, but in the second spell Bbst scored, but the try was not converted. Euoku, towards the closing stages of the game, put in a fine run, after a good passing bout, and scored. Ho converted by a splendid kick, and thus the game was won, 5 —3. Mr Parker was referee. ■ A practice of members of variousteams was then held, and although no science was shown the game caused some amusement.

The Otaki thirds put up a good performance at To Horo on Saturday when they met the lads there, and, after a good game, inflicted defeat, 9 —3. MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
