ANZAC DAY.

CELEBRATIONS AT OTAKI AND MANAKAU. Preparations have been made to hold special services to-morrow (Anzac Hay) at both Otaki and Munakau. At the former place there will be a service on the rest resort grounds. Special hymns and addresses will be given. At Manakau the cenotaph will be unveiled, services will bo held, the Otaki Brass Band will be in attendance, while territorials will take a prominent part. Particulars of both functions a»e advertised. Owing to indisposition Captain Bax will be unable to act as marshal at tomorrow’s function, and Major Joplin has kindly agreed to fill the vacancy. •Scholars of the Otaki Btate School will meet at the school at 1.43 and march to the rest resort. A special Anzac Mass will be celebrated to-morrow morning at 9 o’clock at St. Mary’s Church.
