ANZAC DAY.

MEETING AT OTAKI. A meeting of the members of the Otaki Borough Council was held on Wednesday for the purpose of considering what action should be taken ie-. garding Anzac Day. The Eevs. Peine and Keall were also present. After discussion it was decided to hold a united service on the rest resort site, and resolved to ask returned soldiers to attend in civilian clothes, but to , Tear medals. Captain Bax was appointed marshal, while it was decided to invite Mr Field, M.P., to take part. His Worship stated that, the Band would no doubt assist, and that Natives would also help.
