"TWIN BEDS." TO-NIGHT. The story is as follows:—Signo? Monti has been wasting his unusual tenor voice in a cheap cabaret. At a party given by Hawkins, Signor Monti displays symptoms of violent infatuation for Mrs Hawkins, arousing the jealousy of her husband and Signora Monti. To escape contact with the Monti family Mr Hawkins, changes apartment!', and accidentally, for a like purpose, the Stgnor and his. wife move into the aame building, end in an apartment above Signer Monti, closely watched by tie signora. anas his only possible exit down the fire escape, and flee* for en evening at the Club. Complication* start when returning home in an extremely unsteady and befuddled condition, he leaves the elevator one floor too low, and enters the Hawkins' bedroom, with its twin bed* in exact duplicate of his own. Mr Hawkins ha" gone out. Mrs Hawkins -is asleep in one bed and Signer Monti, with difficulty attires himself for the night, and goes to sleep in the other. Corsplieatitfns multiply upon the return of MsHawkins in the morning. A frantic search of the apartment discloses the Signer in a laundry basket, and Mr Hawkirj is convinced of his wife's duplicity, while Signora lfox.*i threaten* her husband's life. Then follows thfe hilarious climax and a "traightensag out of complications to everybody't complete satisfaction.
