It is probable that only 10s totes will be in operation at the coming meeting of ilio Otaki Maori Racing Club. The Marlborough Club’s meeting, to be held on May sth and 6th at Blenheim is causing a deal of interest, the programme being an attractive one. Nominations close on the 19th, weights will be declared on the 24th, while acceptances close on the 2Sth. Beautiful weather prevailed for the concluding day of the Mnnawatu Raging Club’s autumn meeting on Saturday. The' attendance was larger than on the' first day, and more money was handled by the totalisator. For the day £31,090 was invested, against £46,542 on the corresponding day of last year, a drop -of £15,514; the total for the’two days was £562110, compared with £38,542, a decrease of £32,332.
