WEDDING.
CRAWFORD—TAYLOB. Amid a large gathering of relatives and friends the marriage took place at the residence of the bride’s parents, "Mahoe,” Otaki, yesterday afternoon, of Miss Taylor, elder daughter of Mr and-Mrs Geo. Taylor, and Mr James Crawford, of Wellington. Mr Cnttress, of the Church of Christ, Wellington, officiated. Tha bride was given away by her father and was attended by Miss Meta Taylor, sister of the bride. Mr Hen Taylor was best man. The bride wore a dainty frock of ivory crepe-de.-chene, an old lace fichu which was clasped by an antique brooch, both of which were kindly lent by the Misses Maclean, of Paraparaumu. She also wore the orthodox veil, trimmed with Brussell's lace butterflies, and carried a shower bouquet. The bridesmaid in a coral georgette frock, black hat, and carrying a shower bouquet of autumn tints, completed a very pretty picture. The bouquets were the artistic work of Miss Penn, of Cambridge, and the posey held by the bride's mother was the gift of Sister Lewis. The bride and bridegroom left by motor amid showers of confetti, the former wearing a coat frock of kingfisher blue serge and black panne velvet hat. The beautiful array b£ presents proved the popularity of the young couple. The future residence of Mr and Mrs Crawford will be in Wellington.
