I A, MeConnon is taking a team to j the West Coast at the end of this I week, to take part in the Easter ciri cuit on the Coast. .The horses going J are Prince Ferouz and Paphian. ' E. -Yuile is also going to the Coast at the same time, and intends startj ing Gold Problem on the flat. This I horse's win on .the flat, at the last ' Nelson meeting has encouraged his I trainer in taking this course. American Beauty will be a starter in the Prince of Wales' Handicap at Palmerston on Thursday, but win not be seen at Waipukurau. Tha weight allotted American Beauty at the latter meeting is considered by Trainer Millen to be too severe. Rose of Athens will be seen in action at Palmerston North, probibl& on both days. j A fine looking bay gelding, the first I progeny of Molly Bawn, by Bezone, I is now being broken in by his owner, C. Millen, on the racecourse, Levio. j This is a promising looking youngs- ' ter, true to his father's type.
