FOOTBALL.
THE OTAKI CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Otaki Football Club was held last night, when there was a record attendance and the utmost interest evinced. Captain Bax. who occupied the chair until the arrival of the Mayor (Mr Brandon) pointed out that owing to the absence of-the secretary, tlnough bereavement, no annual report or bal-ance-sheet was available. He anticipated a successful season, and hoped that when electing officers the meeting would act in a reasonable way and elect but three to four vice-presidents. - The election of officers was then proceeded with and resulted as follows: — Patron, Mr .1. I'. Brandon; president, Mr G. Williams: vice-presidents, Messrs Stable, H. Witchell T. B. Bax, A. J. Watts, and A. Satherley; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. Subritzky; Club captain, Mr P. Tahiwi; Management Committee, .Messrs W. Baker, J. Robinson, S. Eddy. H. Nicolson, ami J. Fogden; Match Committee, Messrs W. Baker, P. Tahiwi and J. Fogdcn; delegates to Union, Messrs AV. Baker and .1".
