The Department ol’ Agriculture has decided to hold a School of Instruction for Farmers at Weraroa next month commencing on April 21th. The scheme i s an excellent one and should appeal t 0 every farmer. The Department has , t . it- command all the latest methods in connection with the carrying on of agricultural and pastoral work, and the dissemination of this knowledge by means'of lectures by experts and practical demonstrations at the school of instruction must prove beneficial to the farmer. The Farm School at Weraroa vdll deal with the following,, among other, subjects:—Crop diseases and nest- growing of lucerne, liming, loader crops, treatment of soils, pasture 'management,, breeding of dairy stock, horses and pigs, and dairy farm management. The school is open to farmers of the district to attend, ana we -rust that full advantage will be taken b v the farmers of this opportunity to ada io their store. of knowledge. _
