WOOL-CLASSING DEMONST RATION.

Mr Cook. Government Wool Instructor. ou Friday evening at Otaki gave a lecture on wool unci instruction in classing and handling fleeces. By diagrams and prints of wool he showed how shortage of feed at any time in the twelve months’ growth of the fleece affected and weakened the fibre. Some fleeces were then produced and skirted and rolled in the proper manner. A plan of a model woolshed was also shown and explained,- from which many present obtained valuable prints. A hearty vote thanks was accorded Mr Cook. There was an attendance of about twenty.
