(By the Movie Man). From the proprietor of the Otaki theatre, I learn that that splendid little comedy “Twin Beds” is coming shortly. I recently had tho pleasure of seeing this in Wellington and can thoroughly recommend it. Carter de Havens and, William Dbsmond are the principal fun makers. One of the latest best-sellers to be screened is “Miss Lulu Bett.” De Mille is directing and Miss Lois Wilson is tho star.
Tom Mix, the Fox cowboy star, is a man of many parte. He has directed, and written one of his films, and in all his films he does his own stunts.
It is rumoured that Clara Kimball Young is to re-marry her -husband James Young. Before her marriage aboutt eight years ago, she was known as Kimball. Since their divorce .James Young has been married again, and he has just obtained his second divorce. Shirley Mason thoroughly endorses bobbed Ivuir. She says: “Not alone time and labor, but the fatigue of holding up one’s arms for half an hour before the mirror is little short of appalling.” Miss Mason wears her bobbed hair quite straight with a front fringe.
A serial romance—William Duncan and Edith Johnston are married. They were together in “The Fighting Trail.”
A new- screen comedian is Wilma -Wild.
Miss Wild is one of the largest women in pictures, being 6ft. 3iu. in height and weighing ove-r 18 stone. Before her screen work, Miss Wild w-as a ??ew York society girl, and was persuaded to go into poetures by the late Sydney Drew.

Her latest New Zealand release, “Conflict,” is being praised by all who have
seen it. Pearl White has left the Fox com party and at present is resting.
