PANTOMIME IN OTAKI.

“OLD MOTHEB HUBBARD. | “Chu Chin Chow." which ran for years in London, only had seventeen performances to its credit in Auckland, but. “Old Mother Hubbard" ran in the same city twenty-two consecutive times. This fact should speak for itself. and convince the play-going public that they are to seo something out of the ordinary in touring companies. The xwincipal comedian is Mr George Harpur, tin exponent of female characters of wide experience, and he is ably assisted in his fun-making by Mr Arthur Bertram, as Old Mr Hubbard. . Miss Rubio Raymond as Sally Horner, and Mr Arthur Meredith as Ponto, the hungry dog. The shapely-limbed principal boy is Miss Lulla Fanning, whose fine contralto voice is heard with Miss Audrey Carlyle in the pretty duets, “The Bamboo Tree’ 'and “Kiss a Miss " also in the solos “Allee Samee" and “The Navy." A singer that no one should miss is Miss Ethel Osborn, the fairy princess, whose voice is extremely fine. This young lady is destined to become one of our greatest Ivrie sopranos. Her numbers include ‘‘The Pipes of Pan," “The Nightingale’s Trill” and “The Last Rose of Summer." Intending patrons are advised to book early at Lowry’s. The pantomime will appear in Otaki on Monday evening. *
