FOOTBALL.
CLUB FOR TE HORO. A meeting was held at Te Horo on Monday, March 18th, .1022, to consider the formation of a football club. Mr Vie. Morgau occupied the chair, and on the motion of Mr R. Windlcy, seconded by Mr R. King, it was decided to form a club to be known as the Te Horo Football Club. Officers were elected as follows: —Patron, Mr J. Guy; president. Mr N. C. Davidson; vicepresidents, Messrs F. Wilson (AYaikauae), R. H. Aid worth, R. Barber, J. Day, TV. Wise, C. Baker, J. Fulfil, W. Sothersm, H. Windley, E. R. Gawler, F. A. Evans, B. L. Ellis, H. Perkins, and Inia Hoani; management committee, Messrs C. Baker, ,T. Puti. N. C. Davidson. H. Wise. V. Morgan, and R. King. Mr .T. Puti was appointed Club captain and coach for team. It was decided that the Club colours be a black jersey with white band around waist and white pants. The Club subscription was fixed at Ss 6d. >V practice match will be played on March 25tli at Te Horo. A Dance Committee was -set up consisting of Messrs V. Morgan. 11. Jones, 'A. Day. J. Puti, and Vern Cottle to arrange for a dance on a date to be advertised later, the proceeds to go to Club funds. The meeting closed with a hearty .vote of thanks to Mr -T. Guy who has given the Club the use of a ground for .the coming season.
