STATE SCHOOL PICNIC. Tiie picnic in connection with Ike above was held on Friday last under ideal conditions, and under the capable management of the Committee the various running and jumping events were got through in first rate style. The Ls also enjoyed themselves, as thefio; chosen. Messrs Evans’ Bros, beaut fid 1-oi-h, made st capital picnic gimiad. The Committee thoughtfully provided plenty of hot water, milk, tea, sugar, cordials and fruit, and this action was thoroughly appreciated.
