BOWLING

LEVIN v. OTAKI. Wednesday was gloriously fine and the green in good order for the bowling match between the Levin and Otaki Clubs, and in consequence a very pleasant time was spent. The visitors won ou the aggregate by 125 points to 112; five games out of eight. During the day the ladies dispensed afternoon tea, while at the conclusion of the match Mr Lancaster, ou behalf of the visitors, thanked the Otaki Club and its lady supporters for the pleasant time gi'en and hoped that a return match would shortly bo played. Mr AViudley, on behalf of the home Club, replied, thanking the visitors for inflicting a defeat, and expressed a hopo that the tables would be turned on the next occasion. Cheers were then exchanged, while futtker ones were given for the ladies. Following are tho results of tho games, Otaki being mentioned first in each case: — Williams, Whiteman, W. B.
