a “THE TOMBOY.’’ - 10 l 3 TO-MORROW (SATURDAY). y . g Eileen Percy will be seen to-morrow p night in her latest William Fox picture, “The Tomboy,”'a story that is full of good-natured village fun mixed with touches of pathos. “The Tomboy” is an excellent name for the picture, because Miss Percy is something of village cutup. She shocks the neighbours with frequency. She is tho 1 “star” of the local baseball team; in . fact she is the “Babe” Ruth of tho t team. She knocks ’em over the fence L (if there is a fence in the vicinity) in , every game, and she is a “terror” on . tj;e bases. ' She’s popular with everybody—except the blue-law-loving men and women folk. And she makes the mothers of daughters gnash their teeth with envy as they watch her capturo the love of a wealthy vourfg fellow who drives into town in his car for a short stay. Minnie is some Tomboy. Buck .Tones will-,also be seen in “The Big Punch.”, You cannot afford to miss this film as it is filled with romance, action, thrills and heart interest. MONDAY NIGHT. Mr McMillan, who is retiring from the picture business in Otaki, will make a final display of pictures on Monday night, when there will be a “big feature programme” at usual prices.
