OTAKI AUDIENCES

To the Editor. Sir, —In no part of New Zealand have I seen more badly-behaved audiences than at your local picture show. It is a wonder to me how the majority of the audience puts up with the row. At concerts and other entertainments it is the same. At a concert recently a splendid entertainment was. spoilt by unseemly behaviour. Apparently, it is usual in Otaki for people to walk in and out of the hall while items are being given, and hardly a minute passes but a few boys or girls rush in or out on seemingly pressing business, often keeping up a general conversation with friends in other parts of the hall at the same time. I have heard that the Otaki climate is a record one. It certainly is. Your Otaki audience is a record one, tool They win easily.—l. am, etc.. VISITOR.
