PAEKAKARIKI HILL.
THREE TON LIMIT FOR TRAFFIC. ITUTT COUNTY’S NEW BY-LAW. A by-law affecting the traffic over the Paekakariki Hill was passed by the Hutt County Council on Wednesday. On the motion of Councillor Barclay, seconded by Councillor Mackay, it was decided “that no person shall drive, conduct, or take any goods aart which, with its load shall weigh upwards of three tons, along or over (a) th.e road over the Paekakariki Hill from the foot of the hill opposite to the Tailway crossing at Paekakariki to the line on the south side of the said hill drawn from the northern boundary of section 20 to the northern boundary of section 2i of Block fourteen, Paekakariki Survey' District, or fb) the main. Wairarapa road from the country boundary on or hear the top of the RUSiutaka Hill to ' the foot of the at the ■* southern boundary of Block sixteen, Aktarawa SJjgs’oy IMSt jjjet.” V
