PERSONAL.

On Friday evening the members of the Levin Methodist choir were enter- 1 I taiued at supper by Mrs Andrew and Miss Robinson when a pleasant time was spent. Mr Gardener moved a vote of thanks to these ladies, his remarks ! being endorsed by Mr Vincent. After Mr Andrew had replied those present sang "For They Are Jolly Good Fellows. ’ ’ Air Ron. .Stewart, who has been exchange clerk at the Otaki Post Office for some considerable time, has been transferred to Ashburst and left for his new quarters yesterday. During his stay hero Mr Stewart has proved an able officer, and will carry with him the best wishes of many friends. Prior to his departure he was presented on behalf of the staff with a. line set of military hair brushes, Mr Eddy (postmaster) and Mr Banghan at the same time speaking highly of Mr .Stewart’s capabilities.
