SPORTS GATHERINGS.
The Waikanae sports, to be held on Saturday next, should be the means of attracting large numbers especially as there will be many fine athletes present. All ' events promise to provide plenty of sport, while arrangements for the meeting are in most capable bands. All particulars may be obtained from Mr G. R. Kcmsley. secretary. The Te Horo sports will be held on Monday next, and some fine trophies are offered for (he various events. The programme is a lengthy one. while in the evening a dance will lie held. Pull particulars are advertised.
