RIFLE SHOOTING.
♦ HAUTERE CLUB. On Saturday last the Hautere Defence Rifle Club resumed shooting for the Belt and Taylor Cup series, and completed the shoot for Messrs G. Kirk’s and L. St. George’s trophies. The ranges were 500 yards and 600 yards,-and conditions for shooting were good. Riflemen A. A. Butt and F. Best wore the winners of the trophies, after a very close finish. Scores:— prev. 500 600
