"ONE OE THE FINEST.'' In the Goldwyn comedy drama. "One of the Finest," to be shown at Otaki to-morrow night. Torn Moore, the matinee ideal, has "one of the finest" roles and "one of the finest" stories in which he has ever been seen. As Handsome Harry, the pride of the Mounted Police Force, and later the eagle-eyed sleuth of the plain-clothes men, Moore lias every opportunity to display the versatility and magnetism for which he is so popular. "Oue of the Finest" is a truly delightful comedy-drama of romance and adventure, with sufficient dramatic intensity to hold the interest from start to finish. There, are laughs, and there are thrills, and now aud then you get a lump in your throat, for "One of the Finest" is intensely human. There is a sweet child in "One of the Finest,", the new Goldwyn. comedy-drama, in which popular Tom ifooro scores heavily in the role of a mounted policeman. Her name is "Peaches Jackson. '' Peaches'' assumes the role of Mary Jane Andrews, the child of a thief arrested by Larry Hayes. Later Larry and his mother givo the child a home and bring her up in the right way, Mary Jane's mother coming to see them when her work permits. This 5s one o? the many little humanities which make "One of the Finest" the success ot the moment.
Friday night *s programme is a most attractive one. It includes "Bed, White and Blue Blood," a specially fine picture, that has been splendidly xeceived wherever shown. Several other fine pictures appear on the programme.
