Mr Tom Brown has been appointed temporary clerk to the Levin Borough. 1 Council in place of the late Mr B. R. Gardener.
Constable Sathcrlcy left Otaki yesterday for Rotorua for further treatment for his longstanding illness. We trust he may make a good recovery there.
Mr A. .T. K.-Isherwoocl, who has disposed of his interest Tn the Grand Hotel (Levin), intends to take up temporary residence at Christchurch shortly after the new year.
