OBITUARY.

MRS la. S. SYMOKTS, AGED 81 YKARS. Mrs J-;. S. Symoiis, a well-known an! highly-respected identity uf tlncoast, passed away at the residence uf her daughter, Mis R. Cobb, Otaki, un Saturday evening, titter a short ill ness. The late Mrs Syiuons came lo this colony with her husband, llie lute Mr W. Deceased leaves four daughters—Mn W. F. Davidson (Wellington), Airs I! Cobb (Olaki), Mrs jfawley Dree I'ahiatna;.. Miss Kvann (Olaki), and one son. Mr <'.
