Winchester, accountant and ! at variotjs times actiug-mauagor iu the ' Hank of Australasia's Dunediu branch, | well known in Otaki and district, lias been appointed manager of the Whaugarei branch of the bank. { Mr C. 11. ti. lledditch. who has been ! connected with the Bank of Austinj lasia at Otaki for the past live and a--1 half years, leaves shortly for Danne--1 virke to join the bauk staff there. j During his term of office iu Otaki .Mr I lledditch has not only proved a most efficient officer, but a popular one, and he will be greatly missed by customers and residents in general. Mr lledditch will also bo much missed in sporting and social circles, he huviujj been for some years one el the leading players of the tenuis and gob clubs, besides identifying himself witu other branches of sport. Mr lle.iditch, for some considerable lime, was accretary of the Otaki Social Club, and one of its hardest workers. Airs Hon ditch, who is of a quiet, unassuming nature., will be greatly mused, and wo join with then many friend;.; iu wishing them prosperity in their now sphere.
