HAUTERE RIFLE CLUB.
OPENING OF THE SEASON. The Hautcre Rifle Club opened its season on Saturday last with an attendance of 22 members, the weather being all that equld be desired. A seven-shot match at 200 yards for a sweepstake of 22s was keenly contested,'the five highest scorers sharing the stakes. This being the Sirs! shoot of the club this season, the scoring must be considered very fair. Following were the scores:— 200 yds Hdp. Tl.
Rflmn. V. Morgan .... 17 3 On Saturday next, 15th inst., a slum; will be held for the htdv’s bracelet, seven shots, at 500 yards, when another good attendance is looked for. Will all members requiring new barrels kindly hand in their names to the secretary as soon as possible. PARAPARAUMU RIFLE CLUB.
