WEDDING BELLS.
A very pretty wedding of local interest took place at All Saints ’ Church, Palmerston North, on Saturday last, the Rev. Mr Blackburne oftie iating. The contracting parties were Miss Caroliue Smith, daughter of Mr ami Mrs W. H. Smith, ol Bagsbor. .Surrey (England), and Mr George Guy. ..f Kairunga. eldest -on of Mr and Mis Joseph Guy. of Uautere ' do--. Otaki. The bridesmaid was Miss Lucy Guy, ,-ister of the bridegroom, the best man being Mr J. Barnhill, of Wangan Both the bridegroom and best man saw lengthy service in the late war. T! e bride was attired in a becoming cream gabardine costume, white georgette hat and veil, while her bouquet, a choice one, was composed of asparagus and maidenhair fern, candytuft, and belladonna lilies. The bridesmaid wanicely dressed in a jumper frock of white silk and white hat, and carrion a lovely bouquet of pink camellia.-, maidenhair and asparagus ferns. The young couple, who are very popular, will reside at Kairanga. They carry with them the best wishes of a large circle of friends.
