Davies, C.L., has been appointed engineer-clerk to the Otaki Town Board in place of Mr M. ft. Ayre, who has resigned for business reasons. For the past six years Mi Davies has been engineer to the Pat'- i Borough Council, which gave him full control of all works, including sire*-' formation, water and drainage work as well as the management of the elec 1 trieal undertaking.
