AViM •egard to Hie latter, lie refers to tin .Sovernmeut ‘s scheme ot assisted tin migration, and goes on lo say that i has “offered to lind employment IV all the men and women who go on under the British (iovernriieiit's offm ol' free passages, and who are ap proved by the High Commissioner, is this the case.’ If so, we must adm * that it is the first we have heard of guarantee that places a good deal o responsibility upon the Government ft it is a misstatement, the Govern limit should lose no time in contra -iiiting it, so ns to save itself trouble \, linn immigrants, misled by the im nouucement, begin to uinkc tin •ipoyaranee, and to prcvioit the lattei from suffering disappointment.
