tvere won by; Ladies, Misses Maggie O’Donnell, representing “Eve”; men, Mr J. Horne, “Highlander.” Misses Wehipiehanu supplied nice dance music, while Mr B. P. Gleeson made a capable M.C. The ladies] committee provided- a sumptuous supper, and nothing was wanted to make the .even ing an enjoyable one. Dancing was kept up with great spirit until 2 a.m ACCIDENT. Mr “Dick” Bryant had the misfortune to meet with an accident yestc.v day. While breaking-in a young horse he fell and was Injured in the leg .Fortunately the injury is not of a serious nature, but Mr Bryant will b - unable to get about for a few days.
