Interest in the next show ia already keen, and the Association has been the recipient of several trophies and donations towards the prize-list.
Air G. .1. Stratton, of Levin, has offered a £lO IDs challenge cup for competition irj the purebred Romney classes. Air R. V. Brown, of Bruce
road, is also presenting a £lO 10s cup for the milking Shorthorn class. This cup will take tho place of that wort outright by Mr Brown last year, and v. ill )>c competed for under the same conditions as the previous one. The donor adds the proviso that as he holds one cun he will not be a competitor in the new competition. Mr F. U. R. Gorringe has promised £l2 and Mr R. A. McDonald £-7 5s towards tho prizelist, and the following additional donations have also been received: Mr Ranald A. McDonald £2 10s, Welling-
