LONDON WOOL SALES, Messrs Dalgoty and Company. Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London ollico, under date of 3rd instant: — “Wool sales closed, fairly maintained; 1*4,401 bales were offered, and about 70.800 sold. English spinners and Continental buyers have been active, but the price is too high for Bradford topmakers. As compared with last sale’s closing rates merino - lira, greasy- wools were 7; per cent to in -per cent higher. line scoured merino wools 7[ per cent to 10 per cent higher, also good GO to 'it's, merino -. i.i.i -i: d-her descr7p: ion.- unchanged. superior crossbred wools, tine quality, greasy. ."> per cent higher; average to-shred wools, fine quality, groasv, par lo o per cent: higher: crossbred -.'.(Mils, medium quality. greasy, unchanged: crossbred wools. coarse, greasy, were neglected: slipe and scoured crossbred wools, tine quality, unchanged ; •rossbred wools, medium, quality, scoured. ” per cunt lower, and crossbred wools, coarse, were neglected. The September series have beer lixo<l to open on 21st with limit of t.Ti.Oini bales.”
