WANDERERS WIN SENIOR championship.

One of the most -interesting football matches this season .was played at Levin on Saturday for the final of the senior championship between Hui Mai (Manakau) and Wanderers (LeyiniUnfortunately the visitors were not fully represented, while one or two players were suffering frpm the effects of a previous match. The contest, however, was keenly contested, am. play til! within the last few minutes even. Prim, A. Bevsn. and J. Ropata all received injuries, and consequently Manakau were severely handicapped. Levin, however, put up a splendf-t game, and their-score —a try and a penal tv goal—were the outcome of fine 'play. ‘Congratulations to them on wising the coveted honour.

Kuku and Tokomaru met at shannon. but as the former only tad twelve men were severely handicapped. Nevertheless they put up a good fight, being beaten by six points only.
